Known as Pong, the young Liverpool fan spent 18 days underground after the Wild Boars team were caught in flash flooding.

The boys aged 11 to 16, and their 25-year-old coach, were discharged from hospital in the northern city of Chiang Rai on Wednesday.

In his first exclusive interview last night, brave Pong posed in an England shirt with Tottenham striker Kane’s name.

He thanked England and Manchester City right back Kyle Walker for tweeting his support for the youngsters during the World Cup.

And he even sang England fan anthem Three Lions for the camera.

Pong told The Sun: “It was terrifying being in the cave but I’m so happy to hear how much support we had from the UK.

“I would love to travel to England with all of the Wild Boars to watch a match and meet the players, especially Hary Kane.

“I would also like to meet Kyle Walker and thank him because he supported us.

Pong thanked England fans and players for their support

“But I will only go if all of the team can come with me.

“I want to say thank you to all the England fans who were thinking about me.

“Even though England got knocked out in the semis I will always support them.

“I believe they can win in four years’ time – they just have to train hard.”

The “unprecedented” rescue operation to save the boys was spearheaded by expert Brit cave divers.

Rescuers Rick Stanton, from Coventry, and John Volanthen, from Bristol, were the first to find the boys ten days after they went missing.

Before that the kids had desperately tried to tunnel their way out of the cave.

Pong said of the boys’ ordeal: “It was like a nightmare.

“We went to visit the caves after playing football because some of the boys had never been to see them.

“We were walking back to the entrance when the water came flooding down.

“We had to run for our lives.

“At first I thought the water would go down and we would be able to get out easily.

“I never imagined we would trapped inside the cave for so long.

“Then we started wondering why no one was coming and tried to dig our way out.

“All I could think about was food. I dreamt about spicy basil chicken, noodles, KFC and papaya salad.

“We were ecstatic when the Brit divers found us.”

Pong was the twelfth team member to be brought out on the last day of the rescue mission.

The boys were given two shots of ketamine to leave them unconscious before two divers guided them out.

All Pong remembers is waking up in a military helicopter on his way to hospital.

Now he says he wants to grow up to be a professional footballer or a Navy SEAL to honour the Thai rescuer who died trying to save them.
