Fortnite Season 5 Week 2 Challenges – map for different hoops and how to search between an oasis, rock archway and dinosaurs

FORTNITE Season 5, week two is here, and it’s brought a new set of challenges.

These are now split into two levels for Battle Pass holders and everyone else.

Here’s where you need to go for all of your Season 5, Week Two challenges
The Sun / Epic Games

You still need to complete four of the seven to get your 5,000XP bonus, and there is a new Road Trip meta challenge that requires you to complete all seven challenges in seven different weeks.

To start with, grab an assault rifle and fill someone with holes–do that a few times and you’ll have your first five stars and be on your way to that mystery epic skin.

In between spraying lead at everyone around you, look for ammo boxes — because you need to loot seven in a single match to secure the next five stars.

The final free challenge requires you to secure three eliminations in Paradise Palms.

Some of the hoops don’t come with courts of any kind, so keep an eye out

This week you’ll also be hunting for treasure between an oasis, rock archway and dinosaurs, scoring baskets in five different hoops, and looting chests in Loot Lake.

Basketball courts are scattered across the map, and are marked on our handy cheatsheet map above.

The easiest ones are found in Junk Junction, Greasy Grove, Tilted Towers, Retail Row and Paradise Palms — but try the one between Retail Row and Lonely Lodge if Paradise Palms is too much of a mess thanks to everyone looking for eliminations.

To search between an oasis, rock archway, and dinosaurs, you need to head to the top of one of the buttes in the centre of map square H9, specifically the large one north of the road and west of the river.

You’ll find the star on a dirt patch next to the mobile home – and we’d recommend skydiving straight there.

Remember that the butte is quite high, so you will need to aim closer to it when skydiving in to give yourself enough time to glide over
Once you have landed, grabbing the star should be easy
The dinosaurs in the southern portion of the new desert are hard to miss

You’ve got all season to get them done, but remember the elimination challenges can get harder in some areas as the season goes on and less popular areas become less populated as more players complete the challenge and leave the area never to return.
